There are also opportunities for corporate team builds! If you have a group interested in giving back to the community, while gaining staff development time and new skills. You can find that information, here.

Please reach out to find out more information about our current volunteer opportunities for individuals and for corporate groups, by emailing or calling 229-446-8199 Ext 2.

To meet our goals, Habitat depends on the time and energy of volunteers like you. From home construction, office support, and committee work, to retail help; we welcome volunteers of all skill levels and interests into the Habitat family. The most powerful contributions come from volunteers who want to make a difference in their community.

Most of our volunteer positions do not require previous experience. Committees include Family Selection, Family Support and Church Relations. Construction volunteers are always needed, and opportunities are also available for volunteers interested in working in our ReStore.

A volunteer board of directors made up of individuals from our community direct and govern the work of this affiliate. Staff, committees, and volunteers perform the work necessary to make this vision a reality. Money, materials, labor, and donations of every type are raised in our community. No government funds are used for the building of Habitat houses, though they can be used to purchase land or build infrastructure. Therefore, we rely heavily upon the generosity and goodness of the businesses and people of this community to support the work done here.

Please help us work in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to build houses for those in need, and to create communities in which everyone can live and grow into all God intended.

Volunteers help Flint River Habitat for Humanity fulfill our mission everyday, in many ways. Our volunteer needs are constantly changing.  Volunteers will be expected to complete a volunteer waiver and complete safety training if volunteering on a build site. Volunteers will receive letters of appreciation after volunteer service.
